Meet The Baking Agent

When you treat yourself, you want it to be something special, right? Misha Adams of The Baking Agent gets it!  Her small-batch bakery style cookies and brownies hit the spot for flavor, texture and decadence. With slightly crispy edges and a soft inviting center, her baked goods are indeed an unforgettable treat.

Misha considers Richmond home, but she spent over a decade in DC in the DC area in fast-paced program management and consulting positions. Despite her success, she was ready for a change and began pursuing a real estate license and baking for a fun creative outlet.

She found it rewarding to make something tangible and delicious she could share with her community.  Misha decided to follow her passion, remarking “What started as a side project grew into a business centered on connection, joy, and the belief that small, thoughtful details can make a lasting impact.

The Baking Agent began in Misha’s home kitchen with lots of experimentation and feedback from family, friends, and early customers. She calls this her ‘mad scientist’ phase, explaining, “It taught me how to adapt quickly, trust my instincts, and keep raising the bar.”

Misha’s attention to detail and desire to foster joy in her customers is evident. Her scrumptious take on the classic chocolate chip cookie or chocolate brownie would make a loved one feel special. Or how about treating yourself to Misha’s lemon blueberry, strawberry cream, or ginger spice oatmeal raisin cookies? You can find them all at GFG!

Misha appreciates GFG’s focus on local producers and thoughtfully sourced products, as well as the partnership with Commonwealth Autism. She remarked, “It creates an environment where small businesses can grow while also being part of something more meaningful, which aligns closely with how I want to build The Baking Agent.”

Come meet Misha and sample her cookies and brownies at our vendor days: May 16, June 5, & June 20 (all 1-3pm)
